Fashion One HD joins KabelKiosk
International fashion, entertainment and lifestyle channel Fashion One has launched on German direct-to-cable platform KabelKiosk. The broadcaster has concluded a carriage agreement with the subsidiary of satellite operator Eutelsat for distribution to cable head-ends in continental Europe.
The channel will be available in high-definition to cable operators in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg and South Tyrol from 2 January 2013.
Fashion One reports on news, celebrities, luxury brands, holiday destinations and red carpet events in fashion, entertainment and lifestyle. The channel which targets a female audience also screens Hollywood news, reality shows, documentaries, beauty tips and street styling formats.
“We are excited to be launching Fashion One in Germany with KabelKiosk,” Ashley Jordan, CEO of Fashion One, said in Hong Kong. “This launch supports our drive for continuous growth in the Western European market following our launch of the European headquarter last year and marks the start of a new era in the company’s operations in Germany.”
