Talk Satellite: STN Brings Fashion One Tv Across The Middle East And North Africa Via Newly Launched Atlantic Bird 7
STN has contracted with one of the leading fashion broadcasters Fashion One, to bring Fashion One SD to millions of new households across the Middle East and North Africa via the newly launched Atlantic Bird 7 (AB7). STN and Fashion One are delighted to announce the official launch date of the 23rd October 2011.
Renowned for a unique selection of programming based on the themes of beauty, glamour, style, and luxury, Fashion One is sure to enjoy continued success in this region. Eutelsat’s ATLANTIC BIRD™ 7 satellite was launched on September to 24 to 7 degrees West, and will replace ATLANTIC BIRD™ 4A. The introduction of ATLANTIC BIRD™ 7 will mark a second phase in the boosting of broadcasting capacity at 7 degrees West, where over 450 TV channels are currently available. Optimised for high growth broadcasting markets, two beams will give superior coverage across the Middle East, including the Gulf States, as well as North Africa and North-West Africa.
