An Inspiration: Tyra Banks
"When people have low expectations, you're just constantly saying 'Tada!' and they're like 'Wow!’ Tyra shared on one of her interviews last year about attending Harvard. And 'Wow' indeed. Tyra Banks just graduated from Harvard.
It was 2005 when Tyra strut from modeling for good and made her way into business. Few years later, she hosted the Emmy award-winning talk show 'The Tyra Banks Show'. She's the creator of America's Next Top Model and True Beauty that gives opportunities to young aspiring models to live their dreams. And she is the CEO of her own company, Bankable Enterprises. She also has a book called Modelland and just launched her website- TypeF.com that focuses on being beautiful by being yourself. With all of these on hand, Tyra definitely knows how to take everything to the next level.
Last February, Tyra shared some pics from her tweeter account of her graduating from Harvard Business School. She enrolled in an Executive Education Program-Harvard's Owners/Presidents Management course where she spent 3 weeks on campus a year for 3 years and paid almost 31 grand a year in tuition. When she was 17, she dropped out from Loyola University to pursue modeling and deferred her college education for 21 years. And now, it seems there's nothing that Tyra can't do. You just can't imagine how this supermodel managed to have everything in place with her already busy career.
The now 38-year old supermodel just proves to us that it's never too late to achieve your dream and make a better of yourself.
