A Family Tradition: Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2012 Campaign

The recent campaign for Dolce & Gabbana captured the life of traditional Italian families, showcasing generations of fashionable dress. The brilliant collection of images is full of energy, bringing a breath of fresh air to the fall 2012 advertisements. Photographer Giampaolo Sgura spent a weekend with models Monica Bellucci, Bianca Balti, and socialite Bianca Brandolini, in order to capture Dolce & Gabbana’s latest classic designs - reminiscent of antique Italian photo albums. The new collection is filled with richly embroidered dresses, flowing blouses and layers of lace with patterned coats and capes. The all black color palette is highlighted with pops of bright white and sophisticated floral motifs; not to mention elaborate decorations of intricate gold and silver embellishments. The adorning formal wear is matched with similarly opulent accessories, including encrusted jeweled necklaces, earrings, lace hosiery, large handbags and sparking heels.
